We are committed in Vineland to developing new sources of renewable, “clean” energy that will give us greater self-sufficiency and enable us to more efficiently and cost-effectively deliver the power that our residents need. Our Vineland Solar One project will help us to come closer to achieving those goals.

Following are just a few of the benefits of the project.

		While renewable energy can be expensive, Vineland residents will save hundreds of thousands of dollars in power costs over the next several years because of the unique eco-partnership we have formed with Calpine and the Landis Sewerage Authority.
		Nearly 500 homes can be powered through the Vineland Solar One array during peak generating periods.
		Our solar array will be one of the largest in New Jersey, reflecting the size of our commitment to renewable energy.
